Dave,

Great finds! I appreciate how you go for the really fascinating smaller, subtle stuff. I hope to find one of those Phestias. The double Palaeozygopleura facing off is eye catching. All in all, the Longispina is my favorite. Is the Rusophycus a trilobite trace fossil? Congratulations on a very productive day.

Thanks for the reports everyone. It's always great to see how this Forum gets people together! Hope to see some of you familiar guys again in summer 2016 on my next trip over and maybe I can get to know some new faces as well in the process.

Congratulations Carmine. Those finds are very cool and probably a bit different from what you normally find in the Buffalo area. I especially like the mucrospirifer and spinocyrtia plates. Great hunting with you.

This the other goniatite I found that day. About the same size as the other one- three inches across.

Mike..., I'd like to see the Dipleura pieces you found!

Here are a few of the critters I found that fine day, Tim. Everyone made so many interesting finds and it was great to get together with the whole group. I hope we do it again.

Mike,

Congrats on some excellent finds. That Dipleura is one of the best I've seen from there. and that's the first complete enrolled Greenops I've seen from that site. Makes me yearn for the one I found the imprint of. Thanks for posting and adding to a wonderful thread. It was a great day and so very glad to be a part of it.

Just got my camera back up and working. I will post tonight after I get home from mine and my girlfriends birthday party if it's not too late that is, lol. My children and my girlfriend and I had a phenomenal time. I know Tim saw how my luck is with trilobites, haha! My son seemed to have the same luck :)

I didnt get back until late so I apologize for not having the pictures up yesterday, but I have them today :rain dance:

so here we go... first thing we found was a nice partial Phacops, just over an inch wide.. followed by a nice entombed Greenops boothi, followed by several more greenops....we were mostly trilo hunting if you couldnt tell. Although we did take home some nice other items that we have not been able to collect in the past..well heres the pictures of the singles

now for the odds and ends and the two multiple plates. last picture is my sons monster enrolled dipleura. he was shaking with excitement when he found that one, and Im pretty sure it was the find of the day...

Thanks for posting these Rob. Love the two partial Greenops side by side facing opposite directions. Also love your goniatites and the branching bryozoan. You have to show more pictures of the big enrolled Dipleura your son found. That truly was the most exciting find of the day. Thanks for the reminders of what a great day we all had. Big congratulations.
