Exotic Dinosaur Teeth

It is quite an impressive tooth. You don't see much coming out of Arizona. Is fossil hunting illegal? Or is there not much to find there?

Nice teeth so far everyone. Gotta say I'm pretty impressed by what's been posted.

No different than any other state, you can collect on private land. Just not a lot of exposures available to collect.

I would love to see some more! Anyone have something interesting they would like to post? I'm sure several of us would like to see what you have!

Certainly not the most exotic piece here, but I want to add a shiny black Iguanodontian tooth from the Isle of Wight (Wessex formation at Atherfield) to this thread:

Very nice Marlon, one of the better Iguanodon teeth I have seen for sure! See too many rolled up pieces of bone and tooth from the Isle of Wight which makes nice pieces like this a rarity

Going to resurrect this thread with this Kileskus aristococus (Proceratosauridae) tooth from Bathonian, Middle Jurassic of Russia (1.3 cm tall).

Bumping with one of my rarest teeth, hopefully get to see more fossils posted!

A rooted Neosauropoda indet. tooth from the Kimmeridge Clay in England. Looks a lot like Bothriospondylus but not enough known.

Is a hypsilophodont species confirmed from Hastings now?

I've got one of these teeth---seller said resembled hypsi teeth, but the species hadn't been confirmed in the Hastings Beds yet.

Lovely tooth, by the way. Great detail.

Thanks. It didn't occur to me before, but most of these Madagascar sauropod teeth are more darkerin color. Nice to have a more unusual one :)

From the Hastings Beds? Not that I know of, I was just referring to the family the former owner of the tooth belongs to, in my opinion, not a species.

Thank you!

Cool, was thinking might relabel mine as hypsilophodontid--I've just got it as unidentified. Will be a touch more accurate it seems.

I love the detail some of these smaller teeth have when you look close.
