calhounensis
The_Nautilus_130_13-16.pdf Several years back I was able to help assist FLMNH by collecting matrix from the lower Miocene Chipola formation. The holotype of both species, T. andymurrayi and T. chipolana were found on that trip from two different localities. The second specimen of T. chipolana was found in the matrix I provided from FLMNH IP CA004. The holotype of both were found in matrix my dad removed from a submerged in situ deposit from the type locality. One bears his name as the other is derived from the name of the river. This is the first paper I have been acknowledged in before, so it is a pretty good feeling to be apart of it. My parents have made significant contributions to further the research on the Chipola formation, with donations of dozens of new species.
