Can this be a mammoth tooth

I'm guessing this to be a mammoth tooth. It was found in a dredge operation near Houston Texas.  I'll be glad to hear from others. Thanks very much.

Yes, big piece of bone.  Look up images of Mammoth tooth on the internet to get a perspective of what they look like.

As the others said, it's a chunk of bone. Definitely not a tooth. The bumpy surface is where another bone would have been. In many animals such areas are where bones fuse later in life. So hard to know for sure but it might be from a juvenile animal.

Agree.  This looks like a piece of sub-adult bone or epiphysis.
