Hello Everyone, My Name is Matt, I just found out about this site and thought I should join to learn more on Paleontology and geology, I am Not an expert in any sense of the word but I'm just a fan, You could call it my hobby, I Sketch extinct animals, I own my very own Fossils, the lower left side of a jaw from a prehistoric Bison found right here in Iowa and I have fist sized coral samples from the same place from the dinosaur. I also Have some real hair samples from a Siberian Woolly Mammoth.

 

I also have a collection of 300 items of Prehistoric life Merchandise such as fossils, figures, models, posters and other things that I keep on a big Table in my Bedroom. 

 

I have a website where I post my sketchs of animals, either real, Fiction, Some Cryptozoology or Just random things, For example a Sky scraper with the Carboniferous inside.

Welcome.. I would say that as long as you are drawing dinosaurs and such, you are a paleoartist.  

 

Nice work, but I have to say my first impression of the captured  T rex is that as soon as he wakes up, he will be swinging his head around wildly to eat that young researcher taking notes.  The netting will not save him...  Yum Yum

Yeah That is one of my favorite Pieces, It's from a Science Fiction I'm writing of Out of place animals Placed on Monster Island from the Godzilla Series, but It's all different Monsters from different movies, Some of my own creation, Some from the Monster Card game Pachimon and Other things, I guess It would not really be a good topic to talk about here. 

 

Cool to think about though since it's mostly dinosaurs. Would you like a link?
