Help please

Found these two items in a Miocene area.  Now clue on either.  Larger is 1 1/4" long, and other is 1 1/8" long.  Thank

I agree with the Stingray barb fragment. But the object on the left looks more like fragmented bone. I see cancelous boney material and no enamel.

Yeah, I was looking more at the shape than the texture.:blush:
