Yesterday at Kilve beach Somerset uk, after 2 hours looking for fossils, I sat down in a strop and my eyes were drawn to this !!

please forgive, I know very little about fossiling, but I'd really love to know as much as possible about my find ...

I'm hoping some kind soul will take the trouble to give some info ....

thanks soooo much in advance - it's really appreciated

best wishes - Tony

Welcome to the Forum! :)
It is a nice crinoid columnal, possibly isocrinid.

Can you post much clearer pictures, to see its beauty?

Thank you for the picture! :)
It looks close to Isocrinus. For example, Isocrinus cf. robustus is a common crinoid of the Lower Jurrasic of England. This document might help with more details:

Hunter, A.W. , Clark, N.D.L. 2009. The discovery of Isocrinus cf. robustus from the Lias Group (Lower Jurassic) near Dunrobin Castle, Sutherland, Scotland. Proceedings of the Geologists’ Association, 120(1). pp. 76-78.
