Short 3 hr NSR hunt between the 35 ft rise and the current 8 ft rise. I had very little area to hunt but still had a great day.  The Tylosaur jaw section made my day. :) My new 4x4 saved me once again when I slid down the ditch while parking.

Thanks @JarrodB for posting. I always enjoy your reports on your trips to NSR.

Interesting fossils, nice in situ shots (have to be careful on iPhone - i is next to o) and artifacts!

Awesome finds, sir.

Have you ever attempted to trace those Mosasaur pieces back to the bed rock they come from? Would be nice to get a more complete specimen.

It's a shame we always find more jaw segments without teeth than we do with teeth.  Nice finds though.  This crazy rain!  POC is still rolling.

I hear you id love to find a nice jaw section With teeth still attached. And what a weird summer. Flooding June, drought in July, now flooding in August. Craziness.

Dang it, Jarrod! I'm coming up next week. You couldn't have just left that jaw for me?

Amazing finds there! Finding a tylosaur jaw section would also make my day also, and I actually feel glad that you found something so awesome like that. Maybe next time you'll find a tylosaurus jaw with non-replacement teeth still intact.
