paxhunter
So since there is so much sand on the river and bay this time of year i decided to change things ups and wander some creeks. Well low and behold look what i found and it was the only tooth of the day it is right at the 5" mark. Maybe i will have to spend some more time in the creeks instead of the bay and river lol!!! Miocene_Mason
oh my, what a beautiful fossil! Guess next time in the county and I see a river by the side of the road, might take a wonder. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason

I however, would be honored to take it off your hands so it doesn't sully your other, more worthy teeth. I'm just that nice of a guy. Cheers! anthracite31
Awesome find! I think that deserves a return trip to the creek. My daughter and I are heading down tomorrow from NJ. Trying to decide if we should bring our small boat or not.

hokiehunter
Wow. Awesome find. I always wanted to wander up one of the creeks in the Calvert but never found a good public access point. Congrats on an awesome find. 5" teeth are dang hard to come by. I think I'd consider getting that guy repaired. Wouldn't guess it would cost you more than $50 or so bucks but just a guess. Even if you just did it yourself after practicing on some junker megs.
