Crazyhen
This strange stone was found from Hongshuihe of Guangxi. Is it a fossil? A marine worm?

fossilized6s
I'm not seeing a worm, armored or not. I see one superficially present that looks very neat. Unfortunately i don't have any idea as to what it may be. ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG

ynot
My guess is some sort of a trace fossil. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." ynot
@Crazyhen - Take a look at @fifbrindacier's post in this thread, http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/80967-large-sea-horse-fossil/&tab=comments#comment-854166 I think it fits Your piece very well. @Fossildude19 beat Me, but the above still applies. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." fifbrindacier
Ichnofossil, yes, but a nice and neat one. "On ne voit bien que par le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." Carl
It's perfect placement on the rock is pretty suspicious to my eye, especially since it is raised and on such a water worn rock. But if it is a genuine fossil, I agree that trace fossil is most likely.
