I found this in the North Sulphur River in north Texas. I’ve had a few guesses on Facebook, but wanted to see what I can get from here. Thank you for the help. It’s about 2 1/2 inches long.

The first two piccies are too blurry to say anything about, i'm afraid. 

The third one is much clearer, but half covered by the tape measure. 

I think it may be a rock.

It’s beside the tape measure, not under it. It’s just casting a shadow towards the tape measure.

Not possible to narrow down fragment.

But it is stoney-boney material.
