Ladonia Fossil

Any input on this found in Ladonia. I'm thinking it is a plant based fossil but not sure on any specifics. My middle daughter found it in the river bed.

@Txfossilmom, can you show us what the other sides look like? Baculites from the NSR have very ornate septa on the outside. I have never seen a longitudinal section and wonder if they are that simple.

 

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

I'll see if I can get better pictures of it when I get home this picture came up in my memories on fb and was actually found a few years ago before I'd joined this forum but I've always wondered about it and some rocks with gold specs I'll post later too.
