Its a small price to pay for unlimited access. I left Denver and drove thru 6 inches of snow just 20 miles South of Laramie. By Friday it had warmed back up into the 60"s. henpecked Posted May 12, 2018 Author Share Posted May 12, 2018 Occasionally we have close encounters of the wildlife kind. Sometimes if I'm lucky they will stick around for a picture. The first is a Wyoming swift fox, when they run they bounce like a kangaroo. I believe they maybe endangered but I could be wrong. They are making a great recovery. The second one is the allusive bobcat. I came across this guy as he was putting the moves on a antelope. A very neat and rare animal to see in the wild. I learned a long time ago to always have your camera ready. It takes me less than 2 seconds to get it out and yet I still miss getting the picture. I stepped over a crack a few years ago and just happened to look down. I had just stepped over a mother bobcat with a very young kitten. Not 3 feet from me. I'll find that picture.
