Hello everyone!

I have recently been going through my fossils from Mannum, South Australia and have been trying to ID them down to species. There is a couple echinoids that I have been a bit stumped by. I have ID them all down to genus but am having some trouble getting them down to species. What does everyone think? Here they are with a reference pdf:

Any help is appreciated :D

Thanks,

Dan

I don't know my echinoids well enough to help, but I must say those are wonderful specimens! :)

Hi,

I have just gone back home after 3 very tiring days, I shall return on this subject later, but I don't know the 3rd proposed species.

Are missing  :

- The size of every sea urchin,
- The age of the sediment,
- The numbering of photos or species ;)

@Coco Hi.

Photos 1-2 are Eupatagus murrayensis?. Dimensions are 27mm long, 20mm wide and 10mm tall.

Photos 3-4 are Eupatagus rotundus?. Dimensions are 20mm long, 15mm wide and 10mm tall.

Photos 5-7 are Ortholophus morganensis?. Dimensions are 7mm long, 7mm wide and 5mm tall.

These echinoids are from Mannum, South Australia and are aged early Miocene to middle Miocene. There is also a Mannum echinoid ID pdf included at the top of this post.

Thanks,

Daniel
