BLT
This was found on my property in middle Tennessee. I have always wondered if it was once used as some type of tool, or if it is just an odd shaped rock. Now that I have cleaned it a bit, it looks like it could possibly be bone. Can anyone tell me what it is? Thanks!
GeschWhat
It almost looks like part of a walrus oosik. I'm not saying that's what it is, just the first thing that came to mind. It will be interesting to see what others say. Lori www.areallycrappystory.com/fossils www.facebook.com/fossilpoo
ynot
Odd shaped rock, possibly a burrow cast. Not a bone - rib or otherwise. 1 Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." My Fossil collection - My Mineral collection My favorite thread on TFF.
