I really like this vertebrae I think it goes at the base of the skull

Thank you an iPhone with a cheep clip on lens works fantastic the biggest bone is about 6mm

The marks you point out look a bit more like damage post fossilization, to me. :unsure: 

Chips off of the bone. 

Someone else may have better insight, though.

I glad you enjoyed them and thank you for taking the time to look at my tiny teeth a bone collection. The Permian was an very interesting period in the earth history.

That must have been a memorable day!  However if your group averaged a skull apiece, and Boneman got 20, wouldn't that mean 19 people were skunked?
