5 Humper Posted January 28, 2019 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Hi Smoky Hill, I'm new here, too. Those are wonderful sloth claw cores from NE. Big congrats on scoring those. Any of those are dream finds. I see what look Megalonix jeffersonii and Paramylodon harlani well represented in there. You think they are late Pleistocene? Smoky Hill Posted February 7, 2019 Author Share Posted February 7, 2019 Thanks for the nice comments 5Humper I had assumed they were late Pleistocene but I really am not an expert on dating these things. We also find mammoth, mastodon and the remains of extinct species of bison (skulls), all are from the same drainage system.
