Tidgy's Dad
Sections of crinoid stem and bits of brachiopod shells, I think. I understand that the area is mostly Mississipian in age. 3 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
LiamL
Very cool! I'm wondering if it's something to do with criniods? Not sure really but very cool Yorkshire Coast Fossil Hunter

KimTexan
Yes, I know that material. It is from the St. Joe Limestone, a member of the Boone Formation. These are a couple of pieces I have from Rogers. Mine have a mixture of brachiopods, crinoids, bryozoa and a few horn corals. Thanks for sharing. Not many people post stuff from Arkansas on here. I love Arkansas. I grew up north of Russellville. I sure love the colors on St. Joe material. I found my first trilobite in Siloam Springs, AR. It was so tiny I only realized I had one from looking at it with a magnifying glass. You can find a little description of the geology here in the link below if you’re interested. https://www.geology.arkansas.gov/geology/ozark-plateaus-region-mississippian-period.html
