caldigger
What good bit of luck. If you don't like how it is looking, you can just paint over the piece.
Ptychodus04
You need to provide a DNA sample of the actual worm in order to know if the woodworm killer will actually work. Some species are resistant. 2 Regards, Kris Global Paleo Services, LLC https://globalpaleoservices.com http://instagram.com/globalpaleoservices http://instagram.com/kris.howe

DPS Ammonite
Call your exterminanator. Be on the lookout for fine piles of rock dust, their droppings. You do not want them to spread to the concrete foundation of your house. They also might spread to all your other rocks and fossils. 1 My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned. Tidgy's Dad
Bobby. The problem is that most wood used today is woodworm resistant or chemically protected against them. The poor woodworm have no where else to go, so infestation of fossil wood is becoming a very real problem in the modern world. Aunt Tidgy's advice to you is to get some woodworm friendly wood, leave it near your fossil wood overnight so that the woodworm jump into it, and then, in the morning, run outside with the infested wood and burn it . Or post it to someone with a big collection of fossil wood whom you don't like. Best of luck, Aunt Tidgy. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Auspex
It's worse than you think... You have Petrified Wood Woodpeckers. Hard to get rid of, 'cause they're so darn grouchy! 1 "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease! DPS Ammonite
@Bobby Rico Put your fossil wood in a thick plastic container and visit the Petrified Forest in Arizona. When in Arizona pick up a container of Dr. Tidgy’s Miracle Petrified Wood Worm Cure. At the Petrified Forest, place your infested wood in a flat area surrounded lots of colorful pieces of petrified wood. Place a three inch wide band of Tidgy’s Worm Cure in a complete circle around your wood. The worms will abandon your dull wood in search of the very colorful Arizona wood. The worms will crawl across the poisoned powder and die within five minutes. 2 My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
