Bone fragment - possible Salmonoid jaw from Big Brook NJ

This is a find from Big Brook, NJ. Its about 15mm long and 10mm wide at the end. 

Could it be a salmonoid Jaw fragment? Like these http://www.njfossils.net/salmon.html

Hi, from the dotted structure on this fossil, I presume it to be a partial root of what would of been a HUGE goblin tooth. Still a great find!
