:wub:I went out hunting yesterday I found a great site in Rivergate, TN at a construction site. The contractor came over to see what I was looking for. When I said fossils he said that was a first. :D He said last week a guy was looking for arrowheads. So I showed him a brachiopod I had just found and he thought it was cool and said he had no idea Tn was once an ocean. he said he thought it was just limestone and granite I said to him when yor not looking for the fossils you wont see them but when you are you do. and about a minute later he found something. B) we talked for a minute and parted ways as then I heard him say I found another one he said he was going to show the people in the office who also was wondering what I was doing. ;)

Cool finds Ameenah! :) I frame houses for a living, and have found hundreds of fossils on construction sites. That's great you've found one to hunt.

If you you ever feel adventurous you could head to Dekalb county (east of Nashville there's some good stuff by Doweltown. Or you could come out here for some blastoids and other neat Mississippian age stuff (Cumberland county.)
