The 2014 Mineral Treasures and Fossil Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday March 29 & 30 at the LuLu Shriners Temple, 5140 Butler Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462. Lots of cool fossils will be on display. The two sponsoring organizations – the Delaware Valley Paleontological Society (DVPS) and Philadelphia Mineralogical Society – will display outstanding specimens from personal collections, and provide learning activities for children.
There will be Door Prizes, Food, a Kid’s Corner with free specimens and educational materials. Children are welcome to dig for fossils at a simulated fossil site, and to keep their finds.
