This year the SPVCA-Meeting is in person and online. We will discuss about the future of the SPVCA, if and what way it will go.
Normally it is more a conference for UK-Members, long way to go to Southhampton.
But, you can register and take part online, and, as it is a special meeting, it is free in this year.
We hope that many persons can take part and have good ideas, love to become a member of the group.

SVPCA 2026 - Symposium on Vertebrate Palaeontology and Comparative Anatomy

Our plan for the day:
On behalf of the Interim Committee we are delighted to announce that there will be a free one day symposium at the University of Southampton on Thursday 10th September.
We will have a series of talks in the morning and afternoon, for which we invite abstracts (see below). Before lunch we will have an open discussion about the future of SVPCA, in which we want to hear your opinions.
We will conclude the day by adjourning to a pub to continue the day’s discussions.
ONLINE participation will be available.
An optional fieldtrip may be held on Friday 11th September – please indicate on the booking form below if this would be of interest.
Abstract Submission: abstracts (<250 words) for 10 minute talks or posters should be sent to E-MAIL ADDRESS REDACTED -Do not post full e-mail address on open boards! by 16/08/2026. Please indicate your preferred presentation format (oral or poster).
