Etwa 70 km (40 mil) östlich von Stuttgart in Süddeutschland gibt es eine sehr aktive Sammlergruppe, die Geogruppe Ostalb e.V. Diese veranstaltet regelmäßige Treffen und viele begleitende Vorträge.
Am 04.03. kommt Uwe Ryck, Zweiter Vorsitzender - Freunde der Bayerischen Staatssammlung für Paläontologie und Geologie München e.V., mit dem Thema:
"Gotland – Eine Zeitreise zu den silurischen Riffen der schwedischen Ostseeinsel"
Veranstaltungsort ist das Stadthallen-Restaurant, Aalen
Der Vortrag beginnt um 19:00.
Es wird sich sicher lohnen, Uwe ist ein guter Redner und sehr guter Kenner seines Fachs
About 70 km (40 miles) east of Stuttgart in southern Germany, there is a very active group of collectors called Geogruppe Ostalb e.V. They hold regular meetings and many accompanying lectures.
On March 4, Uwe Ryck, Vice Chairman of the Friends of the Bavarian State Collection for Paleontology and Geology Munich e.V., will give a lecture on the topic:
“Gotland – A journey through time to the Silurian reefs of the Swedish Baltic Sea island.”
The venue is the Stadthallen-Restaurant, Aalen.
The lecture begins at 7:00 p.m.
It will certainly be worthwhile, as Uwe is a good speaker and very knowledgeable in his field.
