This horseshoe crab is from the now closed opencast coal mine Crockhey between Manchester and Liverpool. The specimen is preserved in siderite, an iron ore. Euproops rotundatus has a far more rounded (rotund) aspect compared to the well-known Euproops danae from the Mazon Creek deposits of Illinois.

Not an own find - bought it from Andy C.
