This Whale to Dolphin comparison of a fossil Ulna really demonstrates the size extremes between two similar creatures. The Dolphin Ulna is complete and only measures 3-1/4" long while the Whale Ulna is incomplete with about 3-4" missing from the end. It still measures 15-1/2" long. Both of these bones are from North Carolina.
