siteseer Posted March 22, 2010 Squalus serriculus is a junior synonym of S. occidentalis. Some authors have been unaware of this since it was noted in Bruce Welton's 1979 unpublished PhD dissertation but a few have credited him since. Also, the formation that contains the Sharktooth Hill Bonebed is the Round Mountain Silt. There are conflicting references about that too. The Temblor is a valid formation of around the same age but it is a separate one exposed farther north. Link to comment
