Are these G. scotti or G. whitneyi? Literature is confusing

Erich, Finsley describes G. scotti as a "very small test" (6 mm) with a pentagonal apical disk. He describes G. whitneyi as being twice as large. However, Andrew Smith displays a 14mm dia, Goniophorus scotti (from Texas) on the NHM website. My guess is that they could be synonymous...juveniles and adults.

As always my IDs are all tentative. Akers and Akers was no big help either. Despite the size they look more like G. scotti than G. whitneyi.
