How very interesting it is to see fossils come from my country. In the Philippines fossils are quite rare and fossil hunting is almost non-existent. This is because the jungle prevents any rocks from being exposed and few people ever get educated about paleontology. In my opinion you are very lucky to obtain such beautiful and fantastic treasures from far away islands that are otherwise largely unknown in their undiscovered potential of hidden fossils.

Yes, I agree. Thank you, kaibigan. I got these fossil teeth from a diver and shell collector in Romblon. I live in Luzon. I feel really privileged to have these fossils. It's just too bad that to many people, they are just rocks! If they knew what a rich natural history the Philippines has, (like for example the sheer number of endemic mammals) everything would be different.
