Possible Reptile bones?
Upper Triassic Lockatong formation, North Bergen, NJ.
Granton Quarry.
Seems a bit bigger than the fish bones at the locality -
The long one is about 7/8th of an inch long, and 1/16th of an inch wide.
Bones and partial skeletons of Tanytrachelos ahynis, Icarosaurus siefkeri, and Hypuronector limnaios have been found in these sediments.
Since there is little detail in the bone, I am guessing maybe a rib, perhaps.
Also visible on this piece are the clam shrimp, Estheria ovata, and molds and casts of ostracods, Darwinula sp.
