Gymnura sp Posted December 2, 2008 Hi Makoken, Nice teeth from "the Hill"! I collect there too. A few years back I was going every couple of weeks. Now I'm lucky if I can make it out every month or so. If you go there often we may have run into each other. The usual spot sure has been dug out. There's still some great teeth there but you gotta work for 'em. Lately I've been trying another spot there with very nice white teeth... but pretty hard matrix. Jim (Gymnura sp) Yeah it is getting pretty hard to get good teeth. The over burden is getting to be a lot to clear. But what is waiting underneath is always tempting ! I moved to TX 3 yrs. ago, And have only made it back about 4 times. I'll probably go one more time before I go back home. I'm hoping for a two day trip. Link to comment
