According to Richard Hulbert, Nothrotheriops is found in Florida only in the Early Pleistocene, notably Leisey Shell Pit. It occurs much later in the West.

thats awesome, a freind of mine has been finding tons of these from an underwater cave in the Dominican republic, a few jaws, cranial and post cranial bones and one complete articulated skeleton.
