@Jared C check out NMMNH Bulletin 81 on P. rugosus. You have some of the characteristics in @John S. tooth such as moderate crown. But, this tooth doesn't have the sharp crown edge linear crease found in medial files or the "rugose" (rugged coarse wrinkled) texture common to P. rugosus margins.

gotcha, my mistake was interpreting those misfolded transverse ridges as rugosity
