Archie..... Great to see these plant specimens.... I was an avid upper carb collector when I had access to the opencasts.... The preservation is spot on from this site its well worth collecting and documenting....

Absolutely Terry Dactyll, the spoil heaps these were found in are coastal, eroding fast and seem to be becoming less and less productive for this shale so I need to keep collecting while I still can.
