Isurus oxyrinchus
A 2.8 cm long shark tooth maybe Isurus oxyrinchus from the beach "de kaloot" in vlissingen.
The fossil material there comes from the base of the Westerschelde. The Westerschelde cuts through layers from the Pleistocene , Pliocene , Miocene to Oligocene .
