bockryan Posted January 20 Possibly Otozamites hespera based on this reference (which would make this part of Bennettitales, not a cycad?): Hope R. C., Patterson III O. F. (1969) Triassic flora from the Deep River Basin, North Carolina, North Carolina Department of Conservation and Development, Division of Mineral Resources Special Publication 2, 1-12 Which can be found online here: https://www.deq.nc.gov/energy-mineral-and-land-resources/geological-survey/specialpublications/ncgs-special-publication-02-triassic-flora/download?attachment 1 Link to comment
bockryan Posted January 24 (edited) @paleoflor does Otozamites hespera seem reasonable to you for these as an ID? I see most of your albums are Carboniferous and Permian but thought you may have some thoughts/experience. Edited January 24 by bockryan Link to comment

Your photo does not have a scale, but the gross morphology seems to agree well with the descriptions and photos of Otozamites hespera in Hope and Patterson (1969). Beautiful specimen! Link to comment
