oilshale Posted May 14, 2010 Bubonius was so kind and nailed down this little critter: "Analyzing the paleo environment and therefore contemporary flora and fauna (seen photographs from the gallery) we think that 90% 's is an insect belonging to the family of cerambycide: AGAPANTHINAE, is a female specimen :should be an Agapanthia, course many species was be extinct today but in a morphological comparison with those living now, this looks like a copy of female "Agapanthia irrorata" or A.violacea I write with certainty in the tag "Agapanthia SP." perhaps (see) irrorata! " Thanks a lot Bubonius! Link to comment
