Found this guy last night splitting some shale I had laying around. Found on a piece about the size of a quarter!

Yep that's a nice flat one! Is that a local find or from further out west? Any idea about the age? Congrats! Regards, Chris

The shale is from the Florissant Formation in Colorado. It's late Eocene, about 35 million years old.
