Please bare with me. Thanks... Is this a meteroid? This is large and abnormally heavy for it's size. It weighs about 15-20Ibs and it's only approx. 15 inL×10inW. It is also magnetic. Also please try to shoot from straight on to the surface, not at an oblique angle. Does the magnet stick to all of the rock or just the black areas? Also, there is no way this rock is a meteorite. The black mineral is most likely magnetite, an iron ore mineral. that is common in terrestrial rock. Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys."
