Fossildude19
Welcome to the Forum. Sorry, but this is not a fossil - geologic - rock (chert, maybe?) with mineral veins - quartz or quartzite/agate. Guest
If you look closely it appears to be teeth within. This was found at beach well known for aquatic fossils. It is very strange I agree, but I thought that it was subject to some pressures that mutated the form. Thank you for your input
Fossildude19
Still, not a fossil I don't see any teeth in this item. Ludwigia
What appears to be teeth are mineral deposits, probably calcite. If you drop some vinegar essence on it and it fizzes, then it's calcite, if not, then it's probably quartz. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Mark Kmiecik
Very interesting specimen, but geological in nature. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
