I think our smallest is a dime at about 18 mm and a quarter is around 25mm. Don't really see dollar coins used for scale but they're around 38mm. Any of these coins near that crab claw would get us a good idea of the size even if we didn't know the exact coin diameter. Coins are little things as is this crab claw fragment. I understand the point of scale though as I've had a recent example. A tiny carnivore molar looks a bit like an archeocete tooth at first glance without scale.
