megateeth
I do not have too many comments. My elbow hurts so I will not be typing much. No diving for a couple of weeks at least so this will be my last update for awhile. I took a week off from work so I went out almost every day. The water is getting colder so most days I am only doing one dive. I would appreciate ID help with the tooth on the 11/23 photo. 11/23 Another good day. Not sure what the small tooth is?? 11/24 Best dive of the week. I came up with two really nice teeth both over 5"!!!! 11/25/09 One really nice sharp tooth measuring just under 4" Edited November 27, 2009 by megateeth Megateeth Fossils - Megalodon Teeth, Other Shark Teeth and Info about Megalodon shark tooth collecting. megateeth
11/20/09 - One really nice tooth and a some other fossils. 11/21/09 - Did really well. Did two dives but was really cold by the end of the second. 11/22/09 Another One dive day. Sometimes it seems like I do better if I am only doing one dive. I dig harder and concentrate on what I am doing rather than think about all I have waiting for me when I get back late. megateeth
As always, unbelieveable! I assume diving will soon be over till spring.(?) No, we used to ice dive in PA. Diving here in the winter is nothing. I just do one dive per day in a drysuit but I will go all winter. The vis is great in the winter. I sometimes get one foot. Phoenixflood
Perhaps a few pictures of the tooth alone and dryed may help. I am interested in whether the bottom of the tooth is rounded out with an indent leading up into the tooth. Great finds though!!! The soul of a Fossil Hunter is one that is seeking, always.
