Andy B
Hi. I found my 1st North Myrtle teeth. Can I please get an ID of the bottom one. The root and blade seem to be from 2 different teeth... Sorry for the bad pic. No camera other than my cell phone. The blade has some very fine serrations. It's a pretty tooth. Thanks. Andy
Al Dente
It looks like a lower Carcharhinus tooth, possibly Bull or Dusky shark.

Andy B
Thanks guys. I was hoping bull shark myself. Just surprised the root is more of a V. All the other teeth I have with blades like that tend to be straight across. I presume Myrtle Beach is miocene deposits?

There is Cretaceous and Neogene there. Not sure about Miocene, this tooth is most likely Pliocene or younger.
