THobern
A year ago I bought a 3 5/16" Great White tooth from South Carolina for $175. Most of the root had been repaired, and poorly so. A friend in the U.S. redid the repairs for me, and kept it as accurate as possible, but the tooth still came out to 3 7/16"; one of the largest Great Whites to come out of North America. The blade is all natural.

barefootgirl
OK, let's organize a Forum trip to see THobern's collection in person! I agree! Your buying the tickets right Auspex;) In formal logic, a contradiction is the signal of defeat: but in the evolution of real knowledge, it marks the first step in progress toward victory. Nicholas
It looks pristine, I can't imagine there was much to repair.
THobern
Matty Swilp of Matty's Megs did the repairs; he's really good with roots. More of the root is repaired than you might think, as you can see from the photo of the original repair job. He also showed me photos of a 5" ric that he just repaired. jax
Nice tooth. Reminds me of the one I saw a guy pick up off the Beach in SC. It was 3.5+ in. I had never seen them that big before! Made my 1.5 in look tiny!
