Ludwigia
I spent another day at the Kimmeridgian site in the Upper Danube Valley near Beuron the other day. I had taken my camera along in order to take some shots, but I ended up making so many good finds that I forgot to get it out. Sorry bout that. One great thing about this location is that the finds are easy and quick to prep, so at least I can show you some of the finds. Aspidoceras sp. Ataxioceras (Parataxioceras) lothari Ataxioceras (Parataxioceras) planulatum Taramelliceras (Metahaploceras) nodosiusculum and Glochiceras sp. Ardescia perayense Ataxioceras (Parataxioceras) sp. Rasenoides lepidula 19 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

Upper Jurassic ammos are just about the craziest when it comes to splitting ribs, polyploke, polygrate, parabola nodes, constrictions, etc.,etc. 1 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. The zone lies roughly 7 meters below the one we were working on and the spot is just about 50 meters farther down the ditch and directly in it. It's no longer possible to work the old exposure for danger of the cliff collapsing. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Ludwigia
Here are some more which have landed in the collection. Another A.planulatum riding on a sponge. And below a couple of unidentified sponges, one with a little ammonite in the cup. And finally the ever so slender belemnite Hibolites aquariformis, unfortunately miissing the very tip of the rostrum. Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
