THobern
A couple of recently repaired megs from Cuba and Germany. Kelly Kennedy did these for me, and I'm very impressed with the results. It only took him about a fortnight from receiving the teeth; much better than the year I waited with another artist. 4 3/4" and 5 7/8". Normally I don't like repaired teeth, but I can make an exception for teeth I wouldn't able to get any other way. THobern
$300. Looks a lot, but I'd rather not pay less for a mediocre job; the German meg is literally one of a kind.
Auspex
Nothing wrong there! Well worth the expense. Now, let's take up a collection to buy the Cubans some gentler mining machinery... Sharks of SC
I second that! I dont buy teeth (occasionally sell them) but I hate to think of how many megs have been reduced to dust without anyone knowing what a rare piece prehistory theyre destroying. Save the megs!
