Beaufort County - Battery Creek - Fossil ID

Hey again all! 
 

These were found along Battery Creek in Beaufort County. The identifying characteristic for me is the smooth beige inside but I haven’t a clue what they might be. Any insights would be helpful.

Looks to me to be a concretion--possibly phosphatic judging by the shiny black exterior. We'll let others familiar with the rocks found in the South Carolina creeks weigh in on this one.
