I found these two vertebrae together in the Dinosaur Park Formation of Alberta. I’m wondering what they might be? I’m suspecting rather Champsosaur, turtle, or juvenile theropod. Any insight into the identity of these two elements would be great, thanks!

The one on the right, lower pic, crocodile since it has ball on one end and socket on the other.  Not sure other, not Theropod or Champsosaur .

The one on the right has a very convex posterior end, but unfortunately the anterior end wasn’t preserved. I can’t tell for sure if there would’ve been a concave anterior end. Would that change your guess, or is croc still your idea? Thank you!

Now that I look at you top photo I can see it not being preserved, that last photo was deceptive.  I'll get back with you

I’m also beginning to think at least the one with a neural spine preserved may be juvenile ornithomimid. The morphology seems quite similar to this diagram. I’d assume the second one is also ornithomimid if this is the case as the two verts were found right beside each other

It very close to turtle with the ventral ridges and concave end

Hmm. Guess we could go with turtle then, assuming cervical as not many turtles in the DPF have tails. Thanks so much!
