Tracer Jr. Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 good afterevening to everyone. on our most recent hunting trip (which some of you know as the one that tracer majestically almost fell into the river and it was hilarious), we decided to check a few places for petrified wood, as it is one of our very most favorite things to collect. the trip was very fun (and entertaining), and one of my favorite finds is a small piece of palmwood that i snagged from right in front of tracer's face. he claims a larger piece of wood distracted him and it wasn't fair, but i beg to differ. i will try to get pictures of the palmwood later, but for now heres a shot of a few of the pieces we found. tracer used his hat for scale, but due to the fact that he has an abnormally gigantic head, the pieces are probably twice as big as they appear. p.s. i need to start filming our adventures so i won't be the only one to enjoy the hilarity of tracer's mishaps. You can never have enough petrified wood. Roz, it's only illegal in the altered states.... Just need to get a front loader to push all of my existing specimens out of the way so I have room for more. There are a couple of pieces in my statewide field collection that I have planned to retrieve. Just got to figure out some way to move them.
