Possible Horse Tooth?

Yup. Looks like an Equus sp. horse tooth. It's quite fragmented but I'm thinking it might be an upper tooth that has just lost some of the side material.

Lower jaw, I think..  Very hard to tell. I do not know much about fossil horses in Montana

Your instincts would be correct. The OP stated this was a tooth received from FL. ;)
